How To Build A Mechanical Mod Vape – Check This Easiest Method

Have you ever noticed that the vape mod you see in nearby local shops and mod people use in their Youtube videos is pretty different from each other? There are two types of mod, mechanical and variable voltage mod. The mechanical mod also called “mech mod, ” is a vaporiser without any power regulator or circuit that regulates the required current flow.

How To Build A Mechanical Mod Vape

While a regulated mod is good, a custom vape mod is excellent for vaping aficionados; that is a mechanical mod.

Advantages Of Mechanical Mod Vape

Mechanical Mod Vape

A mech mod vape comes with the following benefits:

  • A mechanical mod does not have a regulatory circuit, LED screen or lights, which makes it highly inexpensive, saving you money.
  • The convenient design and robust build are another reason for buying a mech vape.
  • Inside a mechanical mod, the distance between atomiser and battery is extremely short, meaning the coil heat up quickly when you press the fire switch.

A mod is a great tool to reduce your smoking habit, you can try different flavours, and if you love hard vaping, then a mechanical mod is an excellent choice for you.

How To Create A Mechanical Mode

VapeA custom made mechanical mod is a little challenging to make, but it is possible if you have the correct parts and accessories. The three major things you need to make your mechanical mode are listed below:

  • Housing
  • Battery
  • Atomiser (510 connectors)

The Extra Items That A Mod Build Kit Includes:

  • Battery case holder
  • Wire
  • On/Off switch
  • Fire switch
  • MOSFET
  • 15K Ohm resistor
  • Tap/Tube for covering
  • Resettable fuse

Mechanical Tools:

  • Drill machine
  • Heat gun
  • Soldering machine
  • Surface grinder

There is no rule of thumb to creating a mech mod. Therefore there is no fixed guide. Below you will find a formal idea of building a mechanical mod.

How To Get Started:

  • VapeStep – 1: Get a solid item(like a wooden box or something similar) covered from three sides and has one opening.
  • Step – 2: Make a convenient space for the battery case holder and prefer a parallel connection. (e.g. +, + and -, -)
  • Step – 3: Take MOSFET, and solder the resistor using a soldering machine. A (-ve) parallel connection from the battery will connect to one of the MOSFET ends.
  • Step – 4:The centre pin of the MOSFET will be connected directly to the 510 connectors.
  • Step – 5: The remaining pin of MOSFET will go to the switch.
  • Step – 6: One of the switch ends goes to the fire switch.
  • Step – 7: Another wire from the fire switch will connect with the fuse; the fuse combines the power of two positive sides of battery cells.
  • Step – 8: Up top, there is a mouthpiece in which you can fill e-liquid and vape.

After completing the internal assembly, close the housing using the appropriate cover and design it from outside the way you want.

The resistor and fuse are just for safety reasons as there is no computed circuit in the mechanical mod.
